Photographic documentation of “Haus Britschgi” (external staircase and elevator) in Kerns by freitreppe / Martin Wittwer. The listed building, constructed in 1838, was carefully restored in 2014/2015 on assignment from Alois Britschgi by Lucerne-based architects Durrer in cooperation with the monument preservation department in Obwalden. In the course of the restoration the building was provided with a new stairwell on its north side.
